My oh My, I am a Terrible Updater

Sadly, I forgot about this blog.
TIME TO UPDATE.

So much has happened since May... it's unbelievable.
I graduated high school, dyed my hair black, got a new car, lost friends and made new ones, finished my first semester of college, had amazing late night adventures, danced in parking lots, saw Muse in concert, and so many other things.
I really need to do this more often.
Somehow I thought that by having a blog, I would be so much more insightful. (Obviously that hasn't worked out recently.)

It's almost the new year, so here's to new beginnings!
New beginnings that include updating my blog more often.

State Update

Haha, I'm sorry, I couldn't resist posting this picture-->
(:

Anyways, we just returned home from State this weekend. One I and two IIs. It wasn't our best, but no matter what, I'm so proud of us for making it as far as we did.
"Sounds like a personal choir problem!"

STATE!

Solo/Ensemble contest was yesterday, and the biggest news, of course...
Our quintet won the large ensemble division! The judge even called us "bloody fantastic".

Photobucket

YAY!
Now, we just need to practice insanely before April 24th, haha.

Other results:
Bartok (Brittany & I): I
Dohnanyi (Ian, Julie & I): I
Von Weber (My solo): I--I think I even got 2nd alternate, which is amazing, considering I played that piece about 10 times without any help from Joyce. Oh well, I hate State Solo Contest so I'm glad I didn't get it.
Navarra (Emily & Julie): Somehow, they didn't even place, which is ridiculous in my opinion. They were absolutely incredible. The judge must have been crazy.

But overall, it was a very great day. (:

UPS Class of 2013

It's O F F I C I A L.
(This new blog & the news I am about to impart on you).
Well, as you can see... -->

I  M A D E  I T  I N!
I couldn't be happier, truly.

I just can't wait for college. High school seems so droll to me now, like I'm stuck in some terrible time warp. One of those movies where the kids never want to grow up. Except I'm totally opposite, haha.
22K a year in scholarships doesn't hurt either! Of course, my viola audition is next week, & I'll get even more money from that. So, perhaps I won't be in debt for the rest of my live. 43K a year is pretty intense. ;] And debtors prison has never seemed like a pleasant prospect...
Perhaps we should reinstate those, considering the current financial crises. Dickensonians might approve.
ANYWAYS,
Before I go on another economical tangent.
YAY!

Dignified exclamations always make for a good blog ending.
Love,
Kristin
